That you can claim Disability Living Allowance if you have mobility problems or require care and attention due to your disabilities.

That children who have mobility difficulties can claim Disability Living Allowance from 5 years of age

That if you are a danger to yourself as a result of epilepsy that you may qualify for both components of Disability Living Allowance

 

Did you know……..

That pensioners over the age of 65 suffering from ill health may qualify for Attendance Allowance

 

Did you know………..

That if you disagree with a decision made by Decision Makers from Jobcentre Plus that you can appeal against that decision and your appeal will be heard by an independent tribunal at the at Tribunal Service, a high number of appeals are successful.

 

Did you know………..

That you can claim Incapacity Benefit and work on a ‘permitted work’ basis with the permission of a Jobcentre Plus benefit advisor and :-

a)     earn up to £20.00 per week for an unlimited period

b)     earn up to £81.00 per week working less than 16 hours a week for up to 26 weeks

c)     earn up to £81.00 per week in ‘supported’ permitted work for an unlimited period

 

Did you know…….

That if you work more than 16 hours and have dependant children that you may qualify for working and child tax credits, which is based upon the income within the household.

 

Did you know……..

That if you are a full time student that you may qualify for housing benefit, if you have dependant within the household and/or suffer from a disability based upon the income within the household and that a full time student is exempt from council tax.
